Gold Point, Nevada

Gold Point, NV was the focal point of this camping adventure from Tuesday, October 2, 2012 to Tuesday, October 9. This was a solo trip, because Donna went back to PA on family matters, so our puppy dog (Josie) and I met 17 other camper rigs in the middle of the Nevada desert on our 9 day journey to "hang-out" with the Rotary RVF (Recreational Vehicle Fellowship) group. Gold Point is a ghost town that is currently being restored by Herb Rollins and several of his 20+ neighbors.

 This is Gold Point as seen from the top of one of the hills in the area. As you can see there isn't much here that resembles modern society.
